Is Dibby free?
Yes — Dibby is free for life. We may add an optional premium tier in the future, but everything you need to split and settle is free with no ads.
Do I need an account?
You sign in with email or phone (we send a one-time code). No passwords required, though you can set one if you prefer.
How is this different from Splitwise?
Privacy-first defaults (no ads, ever), real-time sync across web + mobile out of the box, free with no upsell paywalls, native receipt OCR with line-item itemization, and a clean modern UI built for 2026 — not 2014.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
You get a 30-day grace period to recover. After that, your personal data is anonymized; expense amounts and dates remain visible to other group members so their balances stay correct.
